DARKLANDS - 20 years of Fashion and Lifestyle

Darklands is a Norwegian company based in Kristiansand, Norway. Darklands has since 2003 been selling punk, goth, rock, pin-up, urban and alternative clothing from well known quality brands and companies all over the world.

July 2003:
Darklands has stalls at music festivals around the country, building a customer base and getting our name known.

January 2004:
Darklands online shop opens, shipping worldwide!

December 2004:
Darklands shop in Kristiansand opens!

February 2006:
Darklands buys Rimfrost Magazine and starts publishing a new and improved glossy goth magazine! We also sign a distribution deal with Narvesen across the country!

December 2007:
Darklands is expanding, and the shop now gets more than twice as big!

November 2008:
Owner/Managing Director Therese K. Hermansen is nominated for "Female Entrepeneur of the Year" with Darklands and Rimfrost Magazine!

January 2009:
Darklands gets a brand new custom made logo, which will now represent our company!

March 2009:
Launch of our brand new and improved online store!

December 2009:
Darklands shop in Kristiansand celebrates 5 years of rock n' roll couture!

September 2010:
Launch of Darklands Magazine - Our very own online magazine. Articles, interviews and reviews about music, film, fashion and lifestyle!

March 2012:
Darklands moves to our new office/showroom in Kristiansand. The shop (2004-2012) is unfortunately closing down, but the online store will expand and get even bigger. The new Darklands Head Quarter is where both Darklands online shop and Darklands Magazine will be run from.

January 2013:
Darklands moves to a new office, focusing on the new and improved web shop, and at the same time celebrating 10 years in business! :)

August 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019:
Darklands is invited to one of the worlds' biggest goth festivals - M'era Luna in Germany! We're so happy to be doing business with them!

2023:
Darklands is celebrating 20 years in business and will have a new little web shop up later this year. Please follow us on social media for updates.
